Stamford Queen Anne, $149,000

Wowza. We haven’t covered Stamford yet — and Upstater hasn’t yet paid a visit to the town — so we can’t give you a rundown of the town itself. We can, however, tell you that the price on this five-bedroom Queen Anne Victorian has already been lowered by $40,000. Looks like a pretty meticulous renovation, minus the kitchen, which leaves a little something to be desired. But for the price, you could afford one heck of a nice kitchen remodel. Is anyone familiar enough with Stamford to give us some feedback on this property? Stats on the jump.

  1. Wowza indeed. That’s a lotta nice house for 149K. I’ll be curious to find out if there’s some hitch or deal-breaker… like the prison next door to a FABULOUS Dutch stone 18th c. house that’s been on the market for 3 years near Hudson, N.Y. Don’t mean to be a downer… just sayin’…
