  1. Who cares about a real estate broker: when I’m ready to buy a weekend house, I want to hire you! You keep finding the best of them!

  2. HAHA! xo, good luck! Let me know if you do need someone when you find a place to facilitate the “deal”. I have recommendations…

I hope you are f’d in the Catskills or Upstate soon, instead of just in Park Slope!

  3. I want this house! 😀

  4. FYI: I went to actually look at this house. It is GORGEOUS, though a bit cozier than it looks in the pics (great photographer!) — but really very lovely, and even though it is winter now so everything is cut back, still obviously lots of great plantings, gently wooded land, secluded but still v close to Kingston, etc.

And there is 7.5 acres in addition, also for sale.

The problems: A lot of land, with a lot of landscaping, means a LOT of maintenance. Added to this, a tremendously steep, treacherous and long driveway that would make you absolutely isolated in winter — I honestly don’t see how normal delivery vans like UPS etc could get up it at all, and a plow would have problems even. :-/

If you are a very avid gardener getting it as a 3-season vacation home, or you’re rich and can afford a staff of yard people and really don’t mind occasionally being trapped in the woods, it is a steal.

  5. Looks like it is next to a trailer park. Take a peak at the aerial photos
