Alia Hanna Habib, Upstater co-founder and now contributor, is a literary agent and Greene County home owner.

Cher Vick runs the wonderful blog Newburgh Restoration, and contributes regularly to Upstater about Newburgh properties for sale.

RJ Tolan writers our Five Figure Fridays column, charting upstate properties for under $100,000. He runs the blog Procrastinet, and is a writer and theatrical producer and director, and has been co-Artistic Director of Youngblood, Ensemble Studio Theatre’s program for playwrights under 30, since 2003.  He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two sons, and daydreams constantly about “a little place upstate.”  For now, they’re making do with Boba, their beloved 1984 Chevy camper van.

Megan Oldenburger, aka “Upstate Jane,” is the owner of Dichotomy Interiors, an interior styling, design, renovation and staging firm in the Catskills. A recent full time transplant from Manhattan, Megan lives and works out of her Woodstock home with her husband Richard Smykowski, and their two dogs, Gidget and Fern.
